BRAID & BONDAGE

I braided and banded my hair yesterday for a good 'ole "washing". Examining my locks today while separating, I noticed lots of white specks in many of my locks. Basically, I have dirt getting trapped in my locks when I wash. I really think it would otherwise wash out if it wasn't for the b&b. I've noticed it with previous washes and this by far is the worst. Needless to say, I am getting discouraged with the braiding and banding and ready to be done with it...truth be told. I just can't seem to get a decent wash with it and have never felt the squeeky clean that some folk rave about. Having to be gentle and wash in one direction of the lock, instead of just going all hands in for a good old fashioned scrubbin' without the inhibitions is what I dearly miss.

On a positive note, I am finding locks that are budding and I haven't had much slippage this time around. I love when I find a SL that I can't keep out of my hands! Also, I'm coming up on my 6 month'versary at the end of this month! I have an appointment with my consultant for a retightening next Thursday and will inquire about the washing issue and concerns.

Till next time,

Peace.

  1. you may want to try increasing the water pressure a little bit and making sure you squeeze the water through the braids. you may also be able to make the braids a little looser so the water can get through
